Marine engines and outboard motors form the core of the catalog, with examples from leading 20th-century makers. Highlights include Elto Super, Evinrude Elto, Johnson Sea Horse, Lauson, Martin ’45’ Syncro Twist, Sachs Wankel MAC 10, Sea King, Waterwitch, Wilburn Cub, and Elgin motors, along with additional Evinrude, Mercury, and Johnson entries. These motors reflect a range of engineering eras, from early gasoline-powered designs to mid-century innovations.

Boats and related models complement the engines. The catalog offers a wooden skiff-style rowboat with oars, a Lone Star aluminum rowboat, and a wooden hydroplane boat with aluminum components. Toy and model boats appear throughout, including tin wind-up boats, pressed metal submarines, wooden Americana toy boats, glass and ceramic models, and motorized plastic boats. Groupings include Chris-Craft toy models and wood-and-plastic cabin boats.

Scientific and technical instruments appear in several forms. Examples include an F.J. Munter wood-cased electrical apparatus dated 1912, a Benz optical microscope with case and accessories, and a Dow Portable Electric Assistant with gauges and components. Writing and office machines include Smith Premier, Underwood, Remington, and Royal typewriters with cases, as well as a cast iron book press. Radios include Kolster receivers, a Kolster Model K-25 in a wooden cabinet, and a Zenith phono/radio receiver with turntable.

Printed material is a major section, with extensive runs of period magazines. Titles include Popular Science Monthly, Popular Mechanics, Science and Invention, Radio News, Modern Mechanix, Fortune, Yachting, Sportsman, and American Automobile Digest, spanning the 1920s through the 1950s. These feature illustrated covers on themes of science, engineering, aviation, nautical design, technology, and automotive history.

Military gear and uniforms add breadth. Lots include U.S. wool uniforms, sweaters, and trousers, a WWII Navy jumper, military medals and ribbons, and steel trunks with insignia. Additional gear includes helmets, boots, canteens, field phones, ammunition boxes, and U.S. Army Signal Corps test equipment.

Together, the catalog reflects a cross-section of 20th-century innovation, leisure, and material culture, spanning outboard motors, boats, toys, instruments, military equipment, and period publications.
