Bid online now through Thursday, October 23rd at alderferauction.com. This auction will begin closing at 8 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 3 minutes for each lot once it begins to close.

Among the highlights are numerous porcelain and ceramic pieces, including Herend porcelain figurines, Herend dishes with hand-painted motifs, and Royal Doulton character and Toby jugs. Additional selections feature Royal Doulton ceramic figurines, Boehm porcelain religious figures, and Wedgwood jasperware. Several lots of French and bisque figural groups appear alongside white ceramic and olive wood religious figurines, reflecting both European and devotional design. There is an extensive Russian lacquered ware and religious icon collection with mixed media decoration and enameled Faberge style egg figures and boxes.

Asian decorative arts are strongly represented. The catalog includes Japanese cloisonné brass vases, Chinese lacquered duck boxes, and Chinese cloisonné vases and jars. Other entries include roof tile Foo Dogs and carved stone plaques, Chinese jade carvings, cinnabar lacquer plates, and Chinese porcelain bowls and plates. Complementary groupings of Cloisonné enamel boxes, vases, and bowls appear alongside reference books on Chinese art.

Decorative and collectible furnishings include antique parlor lamps, cast iron coin bank buildings, and cast brass crucifixes. Additional home pieces include a Seiko World Time desk clock, framed lithograph with toy soldiers, and marbled papier-mâché boxes.

Textiles and floor coverings are represented by a handwoven Persian wool rug, while smaller decorative groupings include holiday figurines in storage boxes, Santa figures and ornaments, and toleware trays. Several lots feature Japanese lacquered calligraphy sets, carved and gilded wood architectural panels, and stone figures of the Eight Immortals.

The catalog also includes a number of book groupings related to art and culture, such as Art and Design hardcover book collections and Art and Cultural History coffee table books. These lots complement the broader offering of decorative and collectible objects within the auction.
