Terms & Conditions – Local Line Auctions, LLC
Buyer’s Premium A 14% Buyer’s Premium will be applied to all purchases paid by credit or debit card. A 10% Buyer’s Premium will be applied to all purchases paid by cash. No discounts or exceptions apply. Payment Payment is due in full on the day of the auction. Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Debit Cards. Checks are not accepted. Sales Tax All purchases are subject to New York State Sales Tax unless the buyer presents a valid resale or tax-exempt certificate prior to payment. Condition of Items All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Buyers are responsible for inspection prior to bidding. No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be offered after the hammer falls. Preview & Inspection Buyers are encouraged to attend the scheduled preview period and personally examine items before bidding. Failure to preview does not relieve buyer responsibility. Bidding The Auctioneer’s decisions shall be final regarding all matters of bidding and disputes. Local Line Auctions reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder deemed not in the best interest of the auction. Pickup & Removal Purchases must be paid in full before removal from premises. All items must be removed by the designated pickup deadline. Items not removed may be resold, donated, or disposed of at the discretion of Local Line Auctions, with no refund to the buyer. Buyers are responsible for loading, packing, and securing their purchases. Staff may assist at their discretion, but Local Line Auctions is not liable for damage or injury during loading. Risk of Loss Once the auctioneer declares an item sold, ownership passes immediately to the buyer. Buyer assumes full responsibility for loss, theft, or damage. Liability Local Line Auctions, its employees, and consignors shall not be liable for accidents, injuries, or damages occurring on the premises. Attendance at the auction site constitutes acknowledgment that the buyer assumes all risks associated with the event. Legal Compliance This auction is conducted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in Chenango County, NY. |
