This extensive numismatic collection features 223 carefully curated items spanning American and international currency from the 18th century to modern times. The auction showcases an impressive array of early American coinage, including rare 19th-century pieces such as Draped Bust and Classic Head half cents from the 1800s, Capped Bust and Seated Liberty coins, and numerous Civil War-era two-cent pieces. The collection boasts a substantial selection of classic American silver, featuring twelve Morgan and Peace silver dollars from various mints, twenty-seven Mercury dimes in circulated condition, and ten Barber quarters ranging from 1892 to 1914.
Modern precious metals are well-represented with fourteen American Silver Eagles in various grades and years, including PCGS and NGC certified specimens grading as high as MS70 and PF69. Six professionally graded coins in PCGS slabs include high-grade Morgan dollars certified at MS63 and MS64. The collection includes multiple lots of forty-percent silver Kennedy half dollars, complete coin books of Lincoln wheat cents, and US Mint proof sets from the 1960s through 1990s. Twenty-two Canadian silver five-cent pieces from the Queen Victoria and King Edward eras provide international appeal for collectors of Commonwealth coinage.
The paper money selection is equally impressive, featuring thirty items of US currency including rare Confederate States banknotes from the Civil War, fractional currency notes from the 1860s-1870s, early 19th-century obsolete bank notes, silver certificates, red seal notes, funnyback notes, and star notes. Nine foreign banknotes span multiple continents with uncirculated notes from Chad, Central African Republic, Hong Kong, Bulgaria, and South America. Five Iraqi 25,000 dinar banknotes and diverse world currency collections round out the international offerings. Additional items include silver bullion rounds, gold flake vials, and coin storage supplies, making this a comprehensive auction for both serious collectors and precious metals investors.
