Lake Country Sales Terms & Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all Lake Country Sales Online Auctions. Additional Terms and Conditions applicable to a specific auction are included on each specific auction. In consideration of the opportunity to bid at a Lake Country Sales Online Auction, and when you bid at a Lake Country Sales online auction, you, as a bidder and/or buyer as defined herein, are agreeing to these Terms and the Conditions of the specific auction. By accessing this site, you agree, without limitation or qualification, to all of the Terms and Conditions of this site user agreement.

1. All bidders must at least 18 years old, provide their full name, address, phone number, and email address, and maintain that all information is current. Lake Country Sales reserves the right to deny registration.

2. Each auction will have specific payment terms. Please review and follow those terms. Credit card payment may be granted with a 4% credit card fee.

3. All new bidders to Lake Country Sales auctions are put into pending. Lake Country Sales will call bidder to verify it is not a scam bidder & to go over terms. Once bidder has been approved, bidding rights will be activated. Lake Country Sales will not approve any new bidders to the platform during the auction closing process.

4. All online auctions have a buyers premium. Read the auction details of each auction for specifics.

5. Bidders are responsible for bids placed on their account.

6. Inspection dates/times are available for every auction. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect prior to placing bids. Removal day is not inspection day. It is buyers responsibility to inspect and verify the items. This is an auction which is as is, where as, and no guarantees. In-person inspection verifies condition over pictures and description.

7. All removal is at the expense, liability, and risk of the purchaser. Rights of the high bidder to purchase the item ends on the last day and time of the announced pick up time. At this time, the item(s) will be considered abandoned by high bidder.

8. Ownership of items transfers when payment in full is received. Failure to follow payment terms will result in losing your bidder rights with Lake Country Sales. The pickup time is posted in each auction. Failure to pay for your items prior to end of pickup time will result in forfeiting your items and termination of your bidding rights on Lake Country Sales online auctions.

9. Items not picked up at the end of pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of by Lake Country Sales. If winning bidder has approval for alternative pickup time, buyer will be charged a $20 removal fee from auction location + a $20/day storage fee. If items are not picked up up within 7 days, items will be considered abandoned and buyer forfeits items. Lake Country Sales is not in the storage business, so please do not take advantage of this priviledge.

10. Shipping is NOT available unless the specific auction instructions state shipping is available. If shipping is granted, a $20 handling charge will be added + a 5% credit card fee on entire shipping invoice. Buyers agree to not hold Lake Country Sales liable for any damage to items that are being shipped.

11. Please make arrangements to pick up your items during pick up time. If you have someone else picking up your items, please email us with their information. We do not want your items going home with a wrong buyer. We are not a storage business!

12. Every auction item is sold "as is, where is" with no guarantees or warranties. It is the responsibility of all bidders to inspect items before bidding.

13. Bidders are responsible for knowing and complying with auction terms. Once a bid is placed, it cannot be retracted.

14. Sellers, and their agents, are prohibited from bidding on their own assets.

15. Items with a reserve will not be sold unless the reserve price has been met.

16. At the close of the auction, active items will remain open until no bids have been received for three minutes.

17. Applicable sales tax will be collected by Lake Country Sales.

18. If a bidder loses the right to bid on our online auctions due to non-payment/no show, a bidder MAY be granted the privilege to be reinstated by paying a $100 reinstatement fee plus 25% of the total invoice that wasn't paid for. The items will not become the property of winning bidder. Lake Country Sales reserves the right to not grant bidder reinstatement.

19. Technical difficulties / internet outages / software failures may occur and they are out of Lake Country Sales control. Lake Country Sales is not liable for these occurences. We do not enjoy outages, but realize they may occur. With help from the software company, internet providers, & technicians, we will either postpone auction, cancel auction, restart auction, or continue auction once we receive expert advise. The decision of Lake Country Sales in Final!

20. In the event of health, safety, or public restrictions, Lake Country Sales may have to suspend, postpone, or cancel an auction or pick up time until circumstances change.

21. Lake Country Sales does not authorize use and/or reproduction of auction photos,other than for personal viewing of Lake Country Sales Auctions, without written consent from Lake Country Sales. These photos are watermarked "Bidlakecountry.com".

This auction includes a Bobcat Soil Conditioner, lumber, metal, logs, tools, hardware, furniture, & household This auction has a 10% buyers premium. All online auctions are taxable. If a bidder is tax exempt, they must email their tax exemption form to mark@lakecountrysales.com before bidding. If you have any technical problems with your bidder account (registering, changing passwords, etc), please call technical support at 844-775-4774. Please read auction terms and conditions. All new bidders to Lake Country Sales auctions are put into pending. Lake Country Sales will call bidder to verify it is not a scam bidder & to go over terms. All bidders are responsible for viewing and inspection of items prior to bidding. Once you bid on items, you enter a legal binding contract to purchase that item. Payment methods are CASH OR CREDIT CARD ONLY AT PICK UP. Credit cards will have an additional 4% fee added to invoice. Checks, Money Orders, Cashier Checks, Paypal, Venmo, or Wire Transfers will NOT be accepted. If winning bidder does not pay for items by the end of that particular auction pick up time, bidder will be banned from bidding on future Lake Country Sales auctions. Lots #2, #3, #4, & #5 are CASH ONLY payment. If buyer has more items on their invoice, the entire invoice is cash only payment. Credit card payment will not be accepted for these 4 lots Pickup time is absolute and rescheduling for later date & time will not be allowed. Once you bid, be prepared to pick up items if won during scheduled pickup time. Shipping is Not Available. Preview / Inspection time is on Monday, October 20, 2025 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm CST at 34773 221st Ave., Bagley, MN 56621. Preview for Lots 2, 3, & 4 are by appointment only on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 8 am. Please call 218-407-7743 to discuss further. Bidding begins to end at 3:00 pm CST on Monday, October , 2025. Pick up is by appointment only. Pickup will be scheduled for 2 days only! Pick up by appointment only is the AFTERNOON on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, & the MORNING on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 by appointment only. Please read email that is sent with your invoice for instructions! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Lake Country Sales at 218-407-7743. Please bring help for dismantling, moving, and loading items! There will be no help available by Lake Country Sales.
