This is one of my favorite auctions of the year! Our homeowner was a modern art lover and her entire home reflects that passion. From her decorating style to her choice in clothing, her taste was nothing less than fantastic!
In this auction you'll find some unique paintings and artwork including a couple from the brutalist artist Luzon. There's a sleek lacquer bar, sexy vintage MCM chairs, porcelain and bronze lamps, post-modern end table, mexican pottery and asian vases, Howard Miller grandfather clock, statues, sculptures and cookware...and so much more!
The auction begins on Wednesday, October 8th at 9:00 p.m. The pick-up date will be Thursday, October 16th from 9:00 - 1:00 in Creve Coeur near Olive and Fee Fee. It's 32" tall. 21 80's Danel Austin High Fashion Gentleman Sculpture Another High Fashion sculpture from Austin Productions by Alexsander Danel...early 1980's. This is a 1984 Michael Jackson Victory tour poster that is still sealed. It's about 24" tall (estimated). 24 Large Vintage Asian Peacock Satsuma Vase 42" This large 42" vase was purchased over over 30 - 40 years ago and is still in MINT condition. It has a $450 price tag inside and comes with a wooden base that is marked Made in China. No chips, cracks, wear or damage...it's beautiful! Our homeowner paid $9... 34 Bronze Les Amants A de Ranieri Girl w/ Kitty Lamp This beautiful lamp bronze lamp (not spelter) is in superb working condition. Be believe it's bronze and not spelter as the small scratch on the base reveals gold underneath. She's quite heavy as well. The lamp shade may show some wear but it's in... 35 Art Deco Dancing Black Figure Woman Lamp #1 This lamp is ceramic and the woman is balancing the shade on her foot. It's sleek and lovely with no damage. The shade, however, was broken and glued at some point. If you turn it to the wall you'll never see it. Otherwise, easy globe replacement... 36 Art Deco Dancing Woman Black Lamp #2 Another sleek art deco style electric lamp. A retro 70's colorful bedroom suite that includes everything in the photos (except the old mattress...unless you want it). It measures 20" tall and is in excellent working condition. 56 Mid Century Navy Blue Pottery Ashtray It's a lovely navy blue ashtray in great shape! 57 Vintage Gravel Planter Bowl It reminds me of those outdoor ashtrays and trashcans in the park. Well made and ready for your closet! 60 Mid Century Noritake Brown Primastone MCM Dish Set This set from Noritake Primastone is in great shape with no chips or cracks. You might find a knife mark or two but they're really nice. It's a large set and includes everything in the photos. 61 Navy/Green Noritake Primastone MCM Dish Set This is a small set of dishes from the Noritake Primastone collection. A few plates, a platter, some cups, etc. They're all in good condition with no damage. 62 MCM White Lucite Floor Lamp Unfortunately, a couple pieces up top were broken at some point and reglued. There's a little sticker residue on the side but you can remove that easy enough. It has a beaded chain on/off pull switch. Measures 37" tall. 63 Vintage Rolling TV Stand This is a retro 70's rolling TV stand like the one you had as a kid! You remember...the box TV with channels 3, 5 and 7 plus channel 30 would sit on top and you would be the remote control for your Dad. It's THAT TV stand. It's probably a 1.5 or 2 qt pot. 65 Lars Hellsten Skruf Viking Glass Warrior This glass paperweight is a Lars Hellsten Skruf Viking Glass warrior...signed on the bottom. It's about 3" tall and in mint condition. 66 Dining Room Hutch This vintage dining room hutch is on the smaller size and would be a great fit for a kitchen...which is where it sits right now! It's solid wood and in great shape! 67 Dining Room Table & Chairs The table leaf comes out and it becomes a round. Includes four chairs as well.
