TERMS FOR FIREARM PURCHASES: Firearms will be sold at this auction; however, they are not stored at the auction site and will remain in the possession of the Estate’s Executrix and will be available for preview sale day at 8:00 a.m. A licensed Federal Firearms Dealer (FFL), Gunslingers of Kingsport, will handle all background checks, firearm transfers, including any out-of-state transactions. After the auction, all firearms sold will be transported to Gunslingers at 122 Broad Street, Kingsport, TN 37660. Buyers may go to Gunslingers on Tuesday, October 7th, between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to complete the required paperwork and background check. A background check and transfer fee of $45 will be paid directly to Gunslingers at that time. All firearms must be paid for in full on the day of the sale. Buyers must present a valid government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license) to verify age and residency and are solely responsible for ensuring the firearm is legal to own in their jurisdiction as well as for any transfer or shipping fees. In the event a buyer is denied transfer or does not pass the background check, no refund will be provided; purchases are non-transferable to another buyer.
REAL ESTATE TERMS: A 10% buyer’s premium is added to the final bid to establish total contract sales price. A 10% earnest money deposit of the final contract sales price to be deposited and held in Slater Auction & Realty Group’s escrow account, balance within 30 days with Warranty Deed. Buyer to be given credit for the earnest money deposit at closing of the real estate. Lead Based Paint Disclosure/Waiver applies; call for more details. REAL ESTATE SOLD SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION OF THE ESTATE. PERSONAL PROPERTY TERMS: 10% Buyer’s Premium added to the final bid on vehicles, guns, and all other personal property.
