Baling Wire and Duct Tape Our dad (husband), Jerry Houlden, was a man who could fix just about anything — often with nothing more than baling wire and duct tape. He had a gift for seeing potential in the simplest things and finding purpose in the pieces others might overlook. Whether it was a farm project, a home repair, or helping a friend, Dad always found a way — usually with a good deal from an auction or sale along the way. His creativity, generosity, and can-do spirit touched everyone around him.
