Listing Information
Barn Paintings to be Auctioned Off by Shelby County Historical Society Robert Kroeger of Cincinnati, has created 16 barn paintings, 15 of which are from Shelby County, to raise awareness for historic barn preservation. He then donated the paintings to the Society as a fundraising opportunity. SCHS is excited to announce the paintings will be going up for auction on-line during the month of July. The paintings are currently on display at the Amos Library in Sidney and will be displayed during the Shelby County Fair July 20-26, 2025. The paintings will be located in the Traveling Museum that will be parked next to the Community Foundation Hall. Bidding for the paintings will be open on-line starting July 7th. Visit the website troykies.hibid.com to view the auction. Opening bids will start at $50, and each subsequent bid will go up by $5. All proceeds benefit the Shelby County Historical Society. The auction will end on Friday, July 25th at 6:30 p.m. We will be onsite at the traveling museum at this time if you choose to have us place your bid. Feel free to stop by for us to assist you with your bid. The winners of the bids are to pick up their paintings on Saturday, July 26th between 1 and 3 p.m. at the Traveling Museum inside the Shelby County Fairgrounds or arrange a pickup at a future time with the Shelby County Historical Society. Barn Paintings to be Auctioned Off by Shelby County Historical Society Robert Kroeger of Cincinnati, has created 16 barn paintings, 15 of which are from Shelby County, to raise awareness for historic barn preservation. He then donated the paintings to the Society as a fundraising opportunity. SCHS is excited to announce the paintings will be going up for auction on-line during the month of July. The paintings are currently on display at the Amos Library in Sidney and will be displayed during the Shelby County Fair July 20-26, 2025. The paintings will be located in the Traveling Museum that will be parked next to the Community Foundation Hall. Bidding for the paintings will be open on-line starting July 7th. Visit the website troykies.hibid.com to view the auction. Opening bids will start at $50, and each subsequent bid will go up by $5. All proceeds benefit the Shelby County Historical Society. The auction will end on Friday, July 25th at 6:30 p.m. We will be onsite at the traveling museum at this time if you choose to have us place your bid. The winners of the bids are to pick up their paintings on Saturday, July 26th between 1 and 3 p.m. at the Traveling Museum inside the Shelby County Fairgrounds or arrange a pickup at a future time with the Shelby County Historical Society.
