By registering to bid and entering your credit card information, you authorize us to charge that card for any auction purchases you make. Most payments will be processed via credit card. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with no guarantees or warranties of any kind. Once a bid is placed, it cannot be retracted. Please bid responsibly and inspect items carefully when possible.If you are unable to inspect an item in person, you are encouraged to call or email us with any questions. We will do our best to get you accurate information.
Please understand that we do not own any of the merchandise � all items are consigned to us to be auctioned. We strive to describe, photograph, and represent each item to the best of our ability and knowledge, but ultimately, it is the buyer�s responsibility to make informed decisions before placing a bid.

1. Registration
All bidders must register before participating.
Registration constitutes agreement to all auction terms and conditions.
Failure to comply with any term may result in the suspension or revocation of bidding privileges.

2. Property Condition
All items are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults, defects, and imperfections.
Buyers accept the condition of items as they exist at the time of purchase.
No warranties are expressed or implied by the auctioneer or seller.
All sales are final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be accepted.

3. Item Inspection
Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items during designated preview times.
While descriptions and photographs are provided for convenience, it is the bidder's responsibility to verify the condition, authenticity, and suitability of all items prior to bidding.

4. Bidding
By placing a bid, bidders signify that they have inspected the item(s) to their satisfaction or have chosen to waive the right to inspection.
The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder at their sole discretion.

5. Buyer's Premium & Sales Tax
A 13% Buyer's Premium will be added to the high bid of each item.
An 8% sales tax applies to all purchases unless a valid resale or tax exemption certificate is on file prior to bidding.

6. Payment & Invoicing
A nonrefundable deposit of up to $2,000 will be charged for items won at the conclusion of the auction.
The remaining balance must be paid in full on the scheduled pick-up day.
Accepted payment methods and instructions will be provided with the invoice.

7. Item Removal
All purchases must be removed by the designated pick-up deadline.
Failure to remove items by the deadline may result in the items being deemed abandoned property, subject to resale or disposal at the auctioneer's discretion, with no refund to the original buyer.

8. Transportation & Shipping
Buyers are solely responsible for transportation and removal of their items.

9. Auctioneer's Authority
The auctioneer's decisions regarding bidding, dispute resolution, and item withdrawal are final and binding.
The auctioneer reserves the right to modify terms, remove items, or cancel the auction at any time.

We are honored to conduct a second estate auction for the late John David Hardwick, who passed away on October 26, 2024. David was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and spent over 50 years farming with his family at Hardwick Farms. Known for his strong faith, generous spirit, and jack-of-all-trades skills, he also ran Hardwick BBQ & Catering and served as a volunteer firefighter. His love for family and community touched many lives, and his legacy lives on in all who knew him. ________________________________________ AUCTION DETAILS Location: 71 Sidney Lane Whiteville, NC 28472 Preview: Sunday, July 20th from 2-5PM and Sunday, July 27th from 2-5PM Auction Closing: Sunday, July 27th at 6PM (5 items will close per minute) Pick-Up: Monday, July 28th, Tuesday, July 29th, and Wednesday, July 30th from 9AM-3PM, Extra time will be available after these dates, but all purchases must be moved ASAP. Auction Co. will have equipment available for loading certain lots. Scrap piles are buyers responsibility. Buyers be prepared and patient on pickup day! Buyers will receive a text message after the auction to confirm their pick-up time. Payment: Credit cards will be processed immediately after the auction for the amount of $2,000. All remaining balances must be paid for on Monday, July 28th by cash, check, or credit card.
