Discover items from Jenifer McKenzie, a retired professional flute performer and teacher. After earning a master's degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music and completing advanced studies in Switzerland, she played in a state symphony in Mexico for nearly a decade. She was a member of the Dallas Opera Orchestra for 30 years, while also maintaining an active freelance schedule with various local groups. Additionally, Jenifer taught private lessons to students of all ages, from beginners to college master classes. She developed “Meet the Instrument” programs for young school children, as well as music education programs for adults. |
