This auction is a soft close auction which means that it starts to close at the time stated, however it is a staggered close meaning the entire auction does not close out at the time stated. If it is set to close at 6:00 p.m. the first lot may not close if someone has placed a bid last minute, then this item will stay open for 2 more minutes while maybe other items are closing. This goes for all lots, as long as someone has bid it puts 2 more minutes on the clock for the lot until there is no more bidding Cory Craig, Auctioneer will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. This auction is more than just a fundraiser it's a symbol of our community's love, strength, and willingness to lift each other up. On April 28, 2025, tragedy struck our community in a way we could never have imagined. A woman suffering a medical emergency lost control of her vehicle and crashed through the building where an after-school program was taking place. Five precious children lost their lives. Several others were injured. Many morechildren, staff, and familieswitnessed something no one should ever have to see.In the wake of this heartbreaking event, our community has come together with heavy hearts and open arms. We are hosting the Chatham Strong Festival and launching an online auction to raise support for all of the families affected by this tragedythose grieving, those healing, and those trying to carry on with the weight of what they experienced.The online auction is a way for us to give, to uplift, and to remind these families they are not alone.
