Bid now through Tuesday March 25th at alderferauction.com. This auction will begin closing at 7:00 PM at a rate of 5 lots per minute.

The furniture offerings include a Chippendale style secretary with drop front desk over three drawers, a Chippendale style sideboard server with four drawers, and a marble top oval parlor table. Also available are a tiger oak bowfront curio cabinet, a lighted glass curio cabinet with six shelves, and a Queen Anne style silver chest with four drawers.

Timepieces in the auction include a Valley Forge tall case clock, two brass anniversary motion clocks, a Tiffany & Co. brass carriage clock with inscription, and a Schatz 8-day cuckoo clock. Wall decor features a framed silk embroidery, a pair of oil paintings on canvas depicting cottage landscapes signed by Bailley, and three art prints including "Roses" and "The Strawberry Girl".

The auction includes numerous glass and crystal items such as 24 pieces of iridescent clear stemware, five hand-painted Bristol glass vases, and a Dorothy Thorpe Silver Fade smokey glass salad bowl set with six small bowls and a large bowl. A jadeite glass lamp with fringed shade and a vintage hanging swag lamp with a patterned red glass globe are also featured.

Porcelain and china offerings include four decorative plates with a plate rack, a 10-piece porcelain dishware collection including three German bowls, two German serving platters, two trinket boxes, two candy dishes (including one Limoges), and a Bavarian lemon plate. Also featured are 12 Czech floral bowls, a creamer and sugar pair with matching coffee pot, and a 42-piece Chikaramachi (Japan) dinnerware set.

Additional items include silverplated flatware from four drawers, a vintage formica and chrome child's table with two chairs, assorted vintage linens including embroidered and lace tablecovers and doilies, a pair of gilded mirrors, a Victorian wax mourning flower arrangement under a glass cloche, and an abalone shell. The auction also features a collection of EAPG ruby flash glassware including a pitcher, 12 goblets, a creamer and sugar set, and a Victorian ruby cut to clear cruet set with silverplate caddy.
