As husband of one and father of 8, Daniel DeGarmo enjoys balancing the challenges of ministry, business ownership and raising teenagers with toddlers. Daniel became a resident of Chillicothe in 2006 when he moved from missionary work in Canada to planting a church in Ross County, OH. As husband of one and father of 8, Daniel DeGarmo enjoys balancing the challenges of ministry, business ownership and raising teenagers with toddlers. Daniel became a resident of Chillicothe in 2006 when he moved from missionary work in Canada to planting a church in Ross County, OH. Over the past 13 years while the church has grown so has his passion for being an entrepreneur. In 2007 he started DeWard Publishing Company, Ltd.; grew it to be profitable and debt free before finally selling it at the end of 2018. In 2013 he lost his son to SIDS and started a 501c3 eligible non-profit called "He Lives for Kids", a ministry that helps siblings of children who pass away. In 2015 he purchased the property next to the church and created Double D’s Auction House. Over the next couple of years, he went from owning an Ohio licensed auction firm to an apprentice auctioneer to finally an independent Ohio Auctioneer. Seeing the potential for further growth, Daniel studied and passed the exam to become a licensed real estate salesperson – a necessary license to hold in order to auction real estate.
